CUTS STICKY DOUGH WITHOUT DRAGGING: Sourdough, brioche, ciabatta, focaccia, pizza dough, pasta, croissant laminations, cookie and biscuit dough and pie crust all portion cleanly under a high-carbon stainless blade that is sharp enough to cut rather than tear, then clears flour.
FORGED FULL-TANG STEEL THROUGH A SOLID WALNUT HANDLE: The blade is high-carbon stainless, forged from a single piece that runs the full length of the American walnut handle and is secured with two riveted pins. It holds an edge for clean cuts, resists corrosion and staining, and stays straight.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS BAKERS AND EVERYDAY COOKS ALIKE: The 3″ x 6″ blade is the standard home baker size, at home with most loaves, pastry work and pizza. Off the bench it transfers chopped ingredients from board to pan, portions bar traybakes.
HAND WASH ONLY, AND NO HANGING HOLE BY DESIGN: The walnut handle is finished with food-safe oil and is not dishwasher safe; a quick rinse under warm water and a towel dry takes ten seconds. There is deliberately no drilled hole in the handle.
